About Me
I was born in Dumont, New Jersey. It was very close to New York City. I was lucky to grow up around world class museums and artwork. I have been using art to express myself since I was a child. Encouraged by my parents and teachers, I practiced and developed my art skills. I always had a camera, but at age 13 my father let me borrow his fancy camera, and I loved taking photographs. I so loved photography, I saved up all my money and bought my own fancy camera. In high school I was involved with the yearbok and newspapaer taking pictures all the time. After high school I went to Trenton State college/The colleg of New Jersy in Ewing, New Jersey.I graduated with a B.A. in Art Therapy. I worked in Health Services for 17 years.
Always wanting to share my love of art and photography, I returned to school at Holy Family University in Philadelphia, PA and earned my Masters in education in 2007. I was a substitute teacher until 2012 when I got the job at Cartwright School District. This is my fourth year at Cartwright. |
